Welcome to Big Oaks Family Campground... The Closest Campground to Rehoboth Beach

As most of you know from last season, Delaware Transit Corporation has proposed eliminating DART’s Big Oaks on-site bus stop starting in May due to low ridership.
We are doing everything possible to prevent that, but we need your help. There will be a formal public hearing about this proposed elimination of service to the Big Oaks onsite bus stop, along with other statewide changes DART is proposing, on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Rehoboth Beach Public Library located at 226 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. You can make a statement in person to voice your support for keeping the bus stop on-site at Big Oaks Campground. We will need as many people as possible to comment to maintain the bus stop onsite at Big Oaks Campground. If you are unable to attend in-person starting March 18, 2025, comments can also be submitted through email at DOTDTCWeb@delaware.gov, online comment form, calling 1-800-652-DART (3278), option 2, or mailing to: DART Public Hearing, 119 Lower Beech St., Wilmington, DE 19805-4440. To be included in the official transcript of the public hearing workshops, all comments must be received by Monday, March 24, 2025. |
